Our Story
EyeView started in 2006 in a workshop that was, honestly, not much bigger than a two-car garage. It was me -- Jacky Chen -- and one technician, hand-polishing acetate frames and assembling hinges by hand. Our first "production run" was 200 pairs for a surf shop in Sydney. I hand-packed every box.
By 2010, we'd outgrown the garage and moved into our first real factory space. We added injection molding, bought our first CNC machine, and hired a small quality control team. The surf shop in Sydney? They're still a client. Their orders are a bit bigger now.
Today, we operate a 5,000 m² facility with 5 production lines, 150+ employees, and the capacity to produce 10,000 pairs per day. We've served over 500 brands in 50+ countries -- from Kickstarter startups ordering 100 pairs to retail chains ordering 50,000. The workshop is long gone, but the mindset isn't: every pair still gets inspected like it's going to that surf shop in Sydney.

In-House QC Lab
UV transmission testing, impact testing, hinge cycle testing, and dimensional verification -- all done on-site before anything ships.

Former designer at a major Italian eyewear house. Joined EyeView in 2014. Leads our 8-person design team and manages all OEM projects.

Production Manager
15 years on the factory floor. Oversees all 5 production lines and 80+ production workers. Known for his obsession with efficiency.

Quality Control Director
Trained in optical testing at a Swiss lab. Runs our QC department with a 0.5% defect rate target. Nothing ships without her sign-off.
